JobMargin Pro

Privacy, in plain language

Last updated: August 2026. This page is a good-faith summary for our early-access period, not a wall of legalese.

What we collect

If you request early access, we collect the contact and business details you submit so we can review and answer your request. If you join, we also collect your email address, onboarding profile (name, business name, trade, currency, and default costs), and the job records you log — amounts, hours, and notes. No advertising trackers, contact-list scraping, or location history.

Who can see your numbers

You. Your job and business data is stored in a secured database with row-level access rules, and it is never shown to, sold to, or shared with other users, advertisers, or data brokers. We don't aggregate your margins into benchmarks or sell 'anonymized insights.'

Your data is yours

You can download a complete JSON archive containing your profile, job types, jobs, helpers, and job events. A job CSV is also available for spreadsheet work. Leaving JobMargin Pro never costs you your records.

Deleting your account

You can delete your account from the Settings screen. Deletion removes your profile, jobs, and sign-in credentials from the live service. Infrastructure backups may retain encrypted copies until their normal retention period expires.

Service providers

We use a small number of infrastructure providers (database hosting and email delivery) strictly to run the service. Each is bound by its own data-processing terms and gets the minimum data required to do its job.

Changes and contact

If this policy changes materially, we'll say so in the app before it takes effect. During invite-only early access, send privacy questions to earlyaccess@jobmargin.pro.
